Piha Beach on the North Island of New Zealand is one of the most picturesque places I’ve been in my whole life. With beautiful black sand, cliffs lining the shore, and of course, blue New Zealand water, it really is a must see . When we arrived after a short but windy drive from the city of Auckland, my mouth literally fell to the floor. I love the beach but this is definitely a unique piece of paradise that isn’t an everyday sight for an American like me.
